FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this about user logins or digital accessibility?

Digital accessibility. It assesses how usable an app is for people with disabilities, against WCAG 2.2, ADA Title III and EN 301 549, there is no identity or login management here.

Which standards does it cover?

Three: WCAG 2.2, ADA Title III and EN 301 549. Individual controls cite specific WCAG success criteria, such as 1.4.3 contrast and 2.5.5 touch targets.

How is the score calculated?

Each category, Visual, Auditory, Motor, Cognitive and Cross-Platform, is scored either by formula when you enter metric inputs or by control completion otherwise, then weighted into an overall 0–100 score and a Bronze-to-Platinum tier.

What does the AI actually do?

It produces advisory text only: control guidance, gap analysis, standard mapping, clause explanations, improvement suggestions and audit-readiness summaries. It writes nothing automatically.

Where do the apps come from?

Inside the appLockr platform, apps sync automatically from the shell; in standalone mode you can add them manually. Each app gets its own accessibility assessment.

Can I prove compliance to an auditor?

Yes, controls carry status, current-state and actions text, and attached evidence; the matrix records clause-level compliance with notes; and the dashboard keeps a score history plus an audit-activity log.
